Sirard Photos

This is the family of Avilla Sirard and Marie Sophie Gauthier in 1908. Front row, left to right, are
Avilla, Marie Sophie and the youngest child, George. Standing in the second row are Camille,
Frank, Henry, Carl, Louis Appolinaire (my grandfather) and Evelyn.
This picture was probably
taken outside the family home in San Rafael, California, USA.

This picture was taken in 1916 and includes both children and grandchildren. In the front row,
the little girl is my mother, Camille (also known in the family as "little Camille"), Marie Sophie
is in the center in the dark dress. Behind Marie Sophie and closest to the tree is Avilla and to
the left the man with the bow tie is my grandfather, Louis Appolinaire. This picture taken, as
was the one above, outside the family home in San Rafael, California, USA.

This picture was taken outside the Crown Point Gold Mine in Grass Valley, California probably in the
1870s. The mine was owned by Appolinaire Gauthier, seated in the center of the front row and the father of Marie Sophie. Avilla is seated to the left of Appolinaire in the front row.
